Third-party services that you use in connection with GetGem may process information under their own privacy policies. This includes payment providers, WhatsApp/Meta services, and other third-party platforms that are separate from GetGem.

We may collect information you provide when registering, verifying, or maintaining a GetGem account, such as your name, email address, telephone number, company or business information, account credentials, and verification information.
Business and professional information
Where relevant to eligibility, account verification, marketplace participation, or platform features, we may collect business details, professional affiliation information, verified contact information, and other information you choose to provide about your diamond or jewelry business.
KYC and verification information
Where identity or business verification is required, we may process information provided through our verification flow, which may include identification details and supporting documents. We use this information for verification, fraud prevention, account security, and compliance purposes.
Content and files you provide
We may process content you submit through the Service, including diamond searches, GIA certificates or certificate information, diamond and jewelry images or videos, listing details, contact details, design descriptions, design requests, uploaded documents, and other content you choose to provide.
WhatsApp messages and voice-related data
If you interact with GetGem through WhatsApp, we may process the messages, commands, files, images, videos, and voice-message transcriptions needed to understand your request and provide the requested Service.
Usage and activity information
We may collect information about how you use GetGem, including searches, feature usage, listing activity, design activity, account actions, subscription status, interactions with notifications, and technical logs used to operate and secure the Service.

- Verification, security, communications, hosting, and other service providers used to operate GetGem.
- Other users where they provide information involving you in a legitimate marketplace or business context.
4. How We Use Personal Information

- Create, verify, authenticate, and maintain GetGem accounts.
- Provide diamond search, personalized matching, Private Showroom, Vault, listing, design, analysis, dashboard, notification, and other Service functionality.
- Process and administer GetGem subscriptions and maintain account entitlement status.
- Deliver requested communications and respond to support inquiries.
- Personalize relevant Service functionality based on searches, preferences, account activity, or other information you provide.
- Review listings, uploaded content, certificates, and media for quality, eligibility, safety, and platform integrity.

- Maintain, troubleshoot, measure, and improve the reliability, functionality, security, and user experience of GetGem.

6. Payments, Subscriptions, and Paddle
GetGem may use Paddle to sell and administer paid software subscriptions. For transactions processed through Paddle, Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and processes the purchase under Paddle's own buyer terms and privacy practices.
Paddle may provide GetGem with information needed to administer your subscription, such as customer identifiers, transaction or subscription identifiers, product or plan information, subscription status, billing events, and limited buyer information. GetGem uses this information to activate, maintain, suspend, cancel, or restore subscription access and to provide billing-related support.
Full card details are processed by the applicable payment provider rather than being stored by GetGem as part of the normal GetGem subscription flow.
7. WhatsApp and Messaging Services
GetGem uses WhatsApp as an interface for certain platform features. Messages and media sent through WhatsApp are also subject to the terms and privacy practices of WhatsApp and Meta.
GetGem may process WhatsApp identifiers, telephone numbers, message content, files, media, button interactions, and voice-message transcriptions to deliver requested features, maintain conversation context, secure the Service, provide notifications, and support your account.
Do not send payment-card details or other information that is unnecessary for the feature you are using.
9. International Data Transfers
GetGem and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Data-protection laws may differ between jurisdictions.
Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate contractual, organizational, or legal safeguards for international transfers of personal information.
